Motion sensors now seem second nature to us but it wasn’t that long ago that we were destroying mantlepieces and grannys ornaments with our backhand or fooling ourselves to fitness with the original Wii. Never ones to rush things Nintendo launched their new Wii U today and as gamers, animators and general tech geeks we were keen to see what they did. Have a look at the video and see what you think. For us it’s another example of future convergence – when we’ll be less bothered about the screen and all about taking a piece of content seamlessly from device to device.
