We were approached by Unusual Expo to create an animation documenting the life of Llywelyn Bren; A Welsh nobleman who led a revolt in 1316.
Rather than a standard 1 wall projection, this was to be projected onto three individual walls inside a renovated dungeon situation thin The Black Tower of Cardiff Castle.
Using a combination of 2D and 3D animation, we brought Bren and his army back from the dead to show several famous battles, a series of torturous outcomes, and a rather creative use of a hot poker…
